Affordable

June 19, 2024

Launching an Executive Search project without sufficient resources is like going shopping in an expensive boutique with only a hundred dollars in your pocket.

Of course, you can enter high-end stores and examine various models from leading brands. It's a useful experience, but, unfortunately, it won't lead to tangible results.

This approach might lead you to think that you don’t really need an expensive suit and could just buy something at a nearby department store instead.

Or, you might desire to partake in the finer things and thus try to find the means to afford an expensive purchase.

If your wardrobe lacks high-end items, remember that such a suit will also require equally stylish shoes, accessories, a briefcase, and other details.
You'll have to spend money on all these as well. If not now, then later; otherwise, you'll look ridiculous...

Getting involved in searching for top-tier professionals without the necessary resources is questionable.

If you're set on headhunting someone, be prepared to pay up. And don't be surprised if candidates' expectations exceed your forecasts - it's natural in such a process.
