How I work

June 10, 2024

A bit about how I work in the interests of candidates.

I help establish contacts with headhunters, assuming they have positions that my candidates may be well-suited for. For headhunters, information about candidates is provided free of charge.

I do not know for certain if they currently have positions, but if headhunters remain in the market year after year, it means they earn their bread by filling their clients' vacancies.

If a candidate's resume matches the profile of a position the headhunter is working on, they will definitely get in touch with such a person.

Any candidate can do this independently. With my help, they will do it significantly faster and more efficiently, that's all.

Do not think that I have any special relationships with my colleagues. Everything is based on strict pragmatism - only a suitable candidate will get an offer to talk.

And I will not waste my colleagues' time by calling them and convincing them that this particular gentleman is better than all the others. Such calls only cause irritation.

Therefore, only written messages, short, specific, and very clear. A well-prepared resume from which it should quickly be clear who this is, what they can do, what they have done, and what they want to do next.

No poetry, no beating around the bush. A headhunter immediately sees whether they can "sell" the candidate I propose or not.

This is professional communication between colleagues - brief and to the point.

I have been in this business for a long time and understand well how it works.

You may not like this, but this is exactly how it operates.
